West Coast Wine Challenge
Teams of four compete for a beautiful pounamu trophy carved by master carver and 4G’s member Ian Boustridge, as well as for various viniferous prizes. Best costumed, best expression of the theme, best team name, most audacious, the prizes go on and on. This year’s theme is “Down… but not out!” – go for it!

A white flight, a bunch of reds, mystery wines and unusual West Coast challenges make up the day, rounded off with dinner and entertainment in the evening. Set in the bush at Shantytown, the West Coast Wine Challenge is a unique way of joining with other wine tasters and enthusiasts for a great day.

Teams of four are the norm, with an entry fee of $300, covering dinner, entertainment and an array of interesting wine. Partners can come to after-challenge function for $40.00 dinner and entertainment.
