Olivia attended John Paul II in Greymouth and after leaving school attended Tai Poutini Polytechnic where she completed a Diploma in Business and the New Zealand Diploma of Management. Olivia lived in Ireland for a year and travelled extensively throughout Europe. She worked at restaurants in Europe and gained great experience in the hospitality industry. After the closure of Spring Creek Mine where she was employed by Solid Energy, Olivia came to the family business to undertake the chef and restaurant management role. Olivia’s passion for trying new things with food has meant that Paroa’s menu’s are the best and tastiest that they have ever been. Whilst not at Paroa, you will often find Olivia instructing fitness classes at the local gym.
