The Kumara Races is an annual event that is held at the Kumara Racing Track, Kumara. It is a family event where people from all over the country come to watch the horses gallop for a day. People are invidted to bring there own drink and food into the event where there is a festival atmosphere with live music, stuff for kids, totes and even and children's tote where kids can win chocolate for winnig the horse race.
